Entitled “amo, noi” and echoing the work Emerging Butterfly, this installation wants to involve the viewer in an intimate and private space, which somehow narrates the complexity of female identity and its facets. Filled with girly objects and references; fake nails, make-up, hair products, extensions, leopard-print panties, 2000s-style thrifted sunglasses ... it tells of a girl and her desire to transform and experiment in her little room. A celebration of femininity and queerness. Of a friendship in a safe place…long story short: amo, literally us.

Asia Capaldi (1999, Lugano) lives and works in Zurich, where she has just completed her Master’s degree in Fine Arts at ZHdK. Her artistic practice is multifaceted: through performance, happenings, painting, and installation, she delves into and elaborates on popular culture and the nuances of contemporary life. Her works have recently been presented at: La Regionale (2023); Performance ZHdK Zurich (2023); Performance Hotel Tiger Zurich (2023); PINK solo show, Moon Gallery, Lugano (2020).

Rizomi is a non-binary multidisciplinary artist whose creativity spans a wide range of art forms, each leaving a distinct mark. Their artistic journey includes tattooing, pole dance, ice skating, and visual arts, with each medium serving as a unique outlet for expression. As a DJ, Rizomi explores sound- scapes featuring Jersey club, vogue beats, baile funk, and experimental electronic music. Their DJ sets offer a kaleidoscopic journey through sound, blending genres and pushing auditory boundaries to create a unique and memorable experience for the audiences.
