Surreal compositions, plastic assemblages, an altered fragmented perception of our post-internet space.
In his works Nando plays with layers of reality and representation, orchestrating the fictional space of his photographs with visionary lucidity. The boundaries of his pictures go beyond rationality, he raises objects to a totemic state where hierarchic order dissolves toward a new post-internet aesthetics. Nando was awarded with a Master in Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, where he was also lecturing on themes such as “Visual Translations” and “The Modern Tableau”. He achieved several solo shows, as well as he participated in to various group exhibitions in California and New York. He currently lives in San Francisco and works for the Airbnb Art Department.
